Almost 1,500 print units of the large format Roland 900 offset press are now in operation with packaging printers around the world. More than 15,000 units of the medium format Roland 700 have also been sold.
Recent sales include an eight colour 900 with a double coating module and dryer for Field Germany’s new €17.5M plant in Melle, near Osnabrück. It will produce high quality folding cartons for the food industry. Field has also ordered an eight colour Roland 700 for its Rotopack facility in Stuttgart. In Dubai, a new six colour 700 with a double coating module and dryer will increase the production capacity of Majan Printing & Packaging, a company that supplies the pharmaceutical industry. Another six colour 700 with double coating module and dryer is going to Australian carton supplier Wadepack.
