A new joint venture company has been launched in Bulgaria to deliver “better service” and a wider range of bag-in-box packaging and filling systems in South Eastern Europe.
Rapak AD is reportedly the region’s first dedicated global supplier of bag-in-box technology and brings together the expertise of Herti-M, a Bulgarian packaging specialist for the wine and food industry, and the market knowledge and experience of Rapak, a worldwide supplier of bag-in-box liquid packaging systems. Its head office will be in Shoumen.
Rapak says the combination will enable it to reach a greater number of potential customers in different industries, and to offer improved flexibility, faster service due to short delivery times, closer contact and a “better response to customers’ needs”. The company can supply a comprehensive range of bag-in-box packaging, filling systems and other related services.
