Films will be a central focus for Raflatac at Labelexpo Americas 2004, next month (booth 1339). North American film labelstock consumption is projected to grow at two to three times the rate of paper labelstocks, and the company is stepping up its range of multi functional PS film constructions to ensure label converters are meeting heightened globalized standards. It is also offering wider regional coverage to meet the product and delivery demands of its customers.
Kari Virtanen, films development director, says: “Raflatac has carried out an extensive research and development programme targeting the introduction of a fully squeezable film into the North American market. It has been a long process, but after allocating our global resources to the project, the end result looks promising.”
