Flexible packaging converter Parkside International has opened a sales office in Ireland.
The Irish sales office is the latest step in Parkside’s long term European expansion strategy following the acquisition of the Performance Films business of BP Chemicals in 2002. The subsequent addition of the Darton, Barnsley and Zlotow, Poland sites complemented Parkside’s existing units at Normanton and Stoke.
Parkside also opened a sales office in Lille, France, during 2002 that now works closely with the European sales headquarters based in Geneva, Switzerland.
“We will continue to follow our long term European strategy and focus on developing those regions where Parkside already has an established customer base,” concludes Parkside International’s sales and marketing director Paul Marsden.
“We will focus on those regions that offer growth opportunities for our key products such as stand up pouches, shrink sleeves, laminates and barrier films.”
