New from bpi.films, Supreme RIX12 is a ‘highly versatile’ multi-layer cast stretchfilm for semi-automatic stretchwrapping machines. It is said to allow application of thinner layers of film, bringing significant cost savings and a marked reduction in packaging waste. This reduced waste is also 100% recyclable.

Part of a new generation of downgauged products from bpi.films, RIX12 is said to offer all the strength, loading holding characteristics and performance levels of a conventional 17 micron stretchwrap – but from a film profile only 12 micron in thickness.

Being thinner, more film can be wound onto each roll, so that more pallets can be wrapped per reel. In addition to saving up to 25% on wrapping costs, more film per roll means fewer stoppages for reel changes, states bpi.films.
