Pakistan-based dairy producer Fauji Foods has selected Ecolean’s new stand-up pouches to introduce its tea creamer across the country.

The new launched creamer is made available in Ecolean Air Aseptic 125ml package, which can be microwaved.

Designed to allow easy opening, handling and pouring, the new 125ml package can be used with or without a straw. It is a part of Ecolean’s air aseptic product range.

Fauji Foods marketing and sales head Aamir Khawas said: “In order for our brands to be number one in the eyes of the consumer, the packages must be convenient as well as easily recognizable on the shelf.

“That’s exactly what we get with Ecolean. The new, smaller 125ml package fits our consumers perfectly, with just the right portion size for everyday consumption.

“For us, Ecolean’s stand-up pouches are the future for liquid dairy products.”

Fauji Foods currently uses variety of Ecolean packages for its liquid dairy portfolio products.

The dairy producer plans to use the new 125ml pouches for its Dostea brand, to be followed by its UHT brand Nurpur.

Ecolean marketing director Anna Annerås said: “The on the go trend and smaller, single-serve packaging sizes continues to show strong growth globally.

“With the launch of our new smaller packaging size Ecolean continues to follow current consumer convenience trends.”

In June 2016, Ecolean announced the launch of new subsidiary company Ecolean Pakistan in Lahore, in a bid to strengthen its presence in the Middle East, South Asia region.

Swedish firm Ecolean is engaged in developing and manufacturing lightweight packaging and filling machines for the liquid food industry.
