French manufacturer of protective films Novacel has installed a 2,850mm wide, high speed coating line to meet growing demand for surface protection film from the automotive and electronics industries. Novacel assembled the machine itself, from parts made by eight major European suppliers.
“We are excited about the opportunity this new production capacity will give us to expand our presence across the world,” enthuses Laurent Derolez, managing director. The new machine, located at the company’s site in Déville-lès-Rouen, Normandy, will print logos, advertising banners and technical information panels. The protective films also have applications in the storage, transport, handling and manufacturing sectors.
