Neopack has introduced new tube line at the Debrecen plant in Hungary to meet the increasing demand for tubes.

Thanks to a new tube line at the Debrecen plant in Hungary, we will increase production and thus guarantee shorter delivery time-frames. The new line will be operational in the first quarter of 2017.

"Highly increasing demand led to production shortages", explains Mark Aegler, CEO of Hoffmann Neopac AG. "This resulted in long delivery time-frames, particularly in the cosmetic field, and we wanted to solve this issue as quickly as possible. Customer satisfaction is of the utmost priority for us, not only concerning product quality but also time-frames." With the new line, production of a further 65 million polyethylene and Coex tubes is guaranteed. With the new printing system, the tube can be printed on the entire surface up to the shoulder and the end.

Engineering with our own project team
The General Contractor of Hoffmann Neopack is responsible for plant engineering. "With our project team, we can ensure that the facility runs flawlessly and is supplied on time", says Mark Aegler. The new cosmetic tube line in Debrecen is not an off-the-shelf facility: several plant parts must be exactly co-ordinated. A particular requirement is the supply and discharge of different media such as electricity and ventilation.

We have also invested in planning: an automatic planning tool optimises processing of complex orders in Oberdiessbach and Debrecen and also contributes to efficient production.
