Based on the success of its inaugural efforts at CMM International 2003, AIMCAL (The Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators) plans to have an expanded pavilion at CMM International 2005, April 18-21, in Chicago.
Consisting of several special booths located in a prominent section on the show floor, the pavilion will serve as a ‘one-stop-shopping’ centre where buyers from around the world can experience all that is new in coating and laminating. A special hospitality area will enable AIMCAL members to meet customers in a relaxed setting.
In 2003, a total of 18 of the association’s members exhibited in the pavilion and 87 more had booths throughout the show.
“They were so pleased with the results that I believe we can attract a greater number of exhibitors to the 2005 pavilion,” says Craig Sheppard, executive director of of the association. “It provides our members with a very cost effective opportunity to showcase their products to more than 25,000 converting and package printing professionals from around the world.”
AIMCAL will also be sponsoring educational sessions as part of the CMM conference programme. The topics will be announced later this year.
