Moplefan is to purchase the PP film business of Shorko Australia from Basell Australia for an undisclosed amount.
Moplefan is already one of the world’s major PP film producers, with six plants in Italy, Belgium and Israel having a total capacity of 145,000t/year. Shorko is Australia’s largest manufacturer of BOPP film, and a leading supplier of packaging film to the Pacific region. Its Wodonga plant has a production capacity of 20,000t/year.
