Organisers of Labelexpo Europe 2007 Tarsus Group says this year’s exhibition will be even larger than the 2005 event,

Some 23,000 international visitors are expected at the famous art deco Brussels Expo exhibition centre from 26-29 September where they will be able to see innovations and new products from the cream of the world’s labelling community in six halls. Over 90% of the available exhibitor space is already sold.

Tarsus, which says the global label industry continues to grow steadily at a rate of 5-7% each year, promises this year’s show will have a strong emphasis on internal efficiencies within the converting operation. Visitors will be able to see best practice examples of “how to adapt their business to new pressures while saving cost and maximising profitability”.

The show is expected to welcome over 500 companies, including Nilpeter, Mark Andy, Avery Dennison, Gallus, UPM Raflatac, Omet, Gidue, HP, Sun Chemical, Rotometrics, Rotoflex and Zeller & Gmelin. Among the many innovations showcased will be new digital printing systems, RFID, value-added inks that help protect brands and new direct flexo plate engraving systems. A series of seminars will provide delegates with the opportunity to hear advice and insights from leading experts. The show will also see the presentation of the Label Industry Global Awards, established to reward excellence and recognise outstanding achievement.
