Systech says its new Model 8001 oxygen permeation analyser combines "research tool standards" of packaging film testing with an easy-to-use Windows-based user interface.
The unit’s software provides precise control of temperature and relative humidity while balanced electronics and gas handling subsystems ensure accuracy and repeatability of test results under practical, industrial laboratory conditions to worldwide standards. In addition to film materials up to 1.27mm thick, the analyser can measure oxygen permeation of plastic bottles, cans, containers, canisters, flexible pouches and bags over a “very wide” measurement range of 0.008 to 432,000 cc/m2/day.
The control software runs on any Windows platform, using tabbed primary screens, pop-up data fields and pull-down menus to provide an intuitive, interactive user interface.
