Iggesund Paperboard has expanded the presence of its products Invercote and Incada in the UK, with the signing of distribution agreements with Antalis and Elliott Baxter.

Under the agreements, Iggesund will introduce warehousing and sheeting of its flagship product Invercote in the UK to increase the product’s availability in the UK.

Invercote is manufactured at the company’s facility in Sweden.

Iggesund UK sales in-charge Brendan O’Sullivan said: "We’re advancing our position in the UK.

"This means that both our merchants and our direct customers can count on better availability for Invercote than before."

Folding box board Incada meant for the UK market is manufactured at Iggesund’s mill in Workington, Cumbria.

The latest agreements form part of Iggesund’s strategy to expand its distribution network worldwide.
In addition to initiating distribution on the American west coast, the company is launching new distributor partnerships in several European countries.

Iggesund Paperboard logistics director Christina Törnquist said: "As competition gets tougher, the service that supports our products becomes more and more important.

"We’ve worked for a number of years now to improve our delivery service with more than just shorter lead times. These improvements also help to keep both costs and fossil carbon emissions down."

A subsidiary of Swedish forest industry group Holmen, Iggesund operates with two brands Invercote and Incada. Invercote is sold in more than 100 countries.
