Get smart in Prague

The SmartWorldAcademy, a new vendor independent training and consultancy centre for state-of-the-art smart card applications, has been inaugurated by ACG Identification. Said to be highly specialized in software issues for high end smart card technologies, it will “address the needs of system integrators, card manufacturers and solution providers who need to stay abreast of the changes in the rapidly evolving world of microcontrollers for smart cards”.

The SmartWorldAcademy provides technical training courses on topics such as PKI, access control, time and attendance, identification and authentication, loyalty and multi application schemes, as well as international and industry standards for microcontroller and dual interface cards. Initially, the operating systems covered include IBM JCOP, T-Systems TCOS, Logos Smart Card flashCOS and Infineon SICRYPT, available on hardware platforms by Infineon, Philips and Emosyn.
