The self-adhesive market is to be joined by Extrachrome X3, a triple coated paper from Ahlstrom’s LabelPack division.
Extrachrome X3 is said to offer superior gloss, high whiteness and ease of printing and is suited to the wines, spirits, cosmetics and fine food markets. Its strength should also make for trouble free die-cutting and labelling.
The paper is suitable for offset, flexo and letterpress. X3 is UV varnishable and said to have high varnish holdout to reduce finishing costs.
