PCMC has introduced the next generation of its gearless flexo press technology – the Infiniti II. The new machine follows advances made with the company’s Avanti gearless design launched last year.
“The new concept and smaller footprint was attractive to existing customers, as well companies who previously had not owned a PCMC press,” states Lisa Prunty, marketing specialist. “When combining the advantages of the Avanti with the Infiniti, we realized that both designs had innovative features that would be attractive to a larger audience. We took the best from both and designed the Infiniti II. We wanted to present a better machine in a more cost effective package,” she says.
Available in 8 or 10 colour configurations, and web widths from 1,040-1,450mm, with repeats from 355-810mm, the Infiniti II also offers improved speeds of up to 450m/min. Features include improved print decks and enhanced register controls, said to offer higher print quality.
