February 25 is the deadline for companies to sign up for a free, online ‘webinar’ offering to help them gain a deeper understanding of eco-design and save money.
Businesses who register for the session on February 25 can log on to attend virtual seminars covering product and packaging eco-design, relevant legislation and live product and packaging disassembly exercises.
Run by Envirowise – the Government funded programme dedicated to putting the sustainable use of resources at the heart of UK business practice – the webinar will culminate in a roundtable discussion where attendees will be able to put questions to a panel of experts.
The webinar will also provide an in-depth look at the design process, offering practical advice on how eco-design methodologies can be applied.
Envirowise’s cleaner design specialist Jenni Rosser says: “The feedback we have had from our previous webinar has been extremely positive, with nine out of ten of those who participated saying they would sign up for another one. We have developed the content to give a much broader picture of the eco-design process and include more practical elements we think will be of use and interest to anyone involved in the design process.”
