A carton end-loader designed for food packers wanting “the labour-saving advantages of a fast, fully automatic end-load machine at an attractive price” has been launched by Bradman Lake.
The 130 cartons/min running speed of the new SL903 is almost 50% higher than Bradman Lake’s “popular” SL902; to cope with the higher speeds, the system incorporates a three-head vacuum carton feeder and longer carton magazine with motorised hopper. It can handle a large size range and, in a sector where different pack sizes are frequently required, size changing is “simple`”. Handwheels adjust carton flight chains and the costs of the infeed conveyor, while the product inserter is also fitted with quick release pushers.
