Increasing demand for robust, versatile and non-spill ready meal packaging has led D2 Europack to launch a new range of aluminium foil trays.
Available in four depths, the Smoothpack 276 series is part of the company’s Smoothsolution, which comprises Smoothpeel lidding film and Smoothseal sealing equipment. The trays feature the company’s “unique” patented “clean rim”, designed to provide major hygiene and presentation benefits for premium oven-to-table appeal. They come in one top-out size, measuring 265mm x 162mm, and four depths – 37mm, 47mm, 58mm and 75mm – for added flexibility, and can be hermetically heatsealed using D2 Europack’s high clarity, 52 micron co-extruded Smoothpeel lidding film for both standard air closing and MAP. A new transparent clip-on heatsealable Smoothdome lid is also available.
As part of its Smoothsolution, D2 Europack offers Smoothseal semi- and fully automatic sealing equipment both to buy or rent.
