Amcor’s EasyPack system has seen its first use for a wet wipe, personal care product with its specification for Procter & Gamble’s Always Ultra & Freshelle, a combination of an Always Ultra pad and a new, individually packed Freshelle intimate wipe, attached to the pad.

Dr Brigitte Nijs, P&G’s section head, r&d FemCare EMEA, says: “With this joint wipe sachet development we agreed to co-market the wet wipe sachet, printing the “AmcorEasyPack” name next to the P&G product branding and giving Amcor’s details on the sachet.”

Amcor EasyPack is a “unique” envelope sachet configuration, composed of peelable laminate poly-layers, to give practical easy opening. A peelable airtight envelope flapseal is achieved between coextruded OPP and a special PE.
