Fasson MC Perlé – a special wet strength pearlescent facestock – is the latest addition to the company’s range of selfadhesive materials for wine labelling. Said to offer a tactile finish and a subtle silver sheen for labels on high value vintages, it joins the existing range of dedicated wine labelstocks in Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe’s extensive wine labelling catalogue, Preferred Product Portfolio, and Fasson Ideas Book. Together, these three sources offer a choice of 40 different selfadhesive product combinations.
Fasson MC Perlé can be printed by all the print processes with both conventional and UV inks (to which it is said to add an extra sparkle), and is suitable for hotfoil stamping. Good die cutting and waste stripping characteristics are also promised.
The new material is supplied as standard with Fasson S2045 – a general purpose, permanent, rubber based adhesive – in minimum order quantities of 1,000m2, to suit smaller wineries.
