MY Cartons UK has installed a DuPont Cromalin b2 to provide in-house proofing at its Crewkerne site. Stephen Anton, site director, explains: “Our repro houses have always provided us with Cromalin proofs, a standard both our clients and we are accustomed to. It therefore made sense to buy a proofing system that would continue to meet our expectations.”
The Crewkerne operation produces packaging for the food industry, especially dairy products.
Stephen Anton concludes: “Currently, all our other sites still use repro houses to provide proofs – but they are watching the impact the new investment in b2 equipment has at Crewkerne. If it is as successful as we expect it to be, I would not be surprised to see us move toward introducing more b2 systems at our other UK locations.”
