Digital print show postponed

ESMA, the Association of European machine and material manufacturers for the digital print industry, and Messe Frankfurt have decided to postpone DPE, the digital print trade fair, originally scheduled for March, 2006.

Rudi Roeller, ESMA president, explains: “By postponing the show date the ESMA is considering the wishes of the exhibition’s target groups, who have, in increasing numbers, been critically commenting on the accumulation of digital printing exhibitions scheduled in Europe for next year. The ESMA will prepare a new concept for the exhibition that will be adapted to the current market situation, then discuss it with Messe Frankfurt and introduce it to the market by the beginning of 2006.”

Frankfurt is still planned to be the venue for the event.
