Taiwan based Goodstrong Machinery is now marketing its range of twin knife sheeters in Europe. Available through Ashton International UK, the range includes sheet cutters, single rotary and twin rotary models, with shaftless unwind stands for reels up to 1,800mm diameter. The sheeters will handle trimmed web widths of 1,000, 1,400 and 1,600mm, with speeds ranging between 250-380m/min.
Ashton International md Roy Cook says: “There is now a realistic opportunity to purchase twin knife sheeters at a very cost effective price that will best suit converters and smaller output mills”. A cut-to-preprint register sheeter also available has a 1,000mm width, top speed of 200m/min and claimed accuracy of within 0.2mm.
All the sheeters are stated to be CE certified and have two motor drives.
