DS Smith Plastics has acquired the assets of Cookson Plastic Mouldings (Europe) and integrated the business into the firm’s Kaysersberg Plastics operation.
Cookson Plastic Mouldings’ former European pallet range, including HyRack, Duro-Pallet and specialist plastics pallets for the rigid container industry, are now available from Kaysersberg Plastics.
Former managing director of Cookson Plastic Moulding (Europe) David Spilsbury now heads up the plastics pallets sales effort for Kaysersberg Plastics in Europe.
“Thanks to this acquisition, future supply to our existing customers is protected and guaranteed,” says Mr Spilsbury. “For the first time, our customers will be able to access an integrated returnable transit packaging system, including plastics pallets, layer pads and top frames, small boxes and dunnage from a single manu-facturing source.”
