Convertech has updated its Air Roll Lock differential shaft to enable slitting of rolls down to 0.5in, claiming this makes its ability to slit narrow widths superior to competitor products. Available in standard and cleanroom versions, the improved shaft features GlideLock clutched rollers, which are said to eliminate dusting and lock each core firmly, as well as enabling the shaft to control tensions from 0.15pli on multiple width rolls.
