Wittmann Battenfeld has continued to develop equipment for injection moulding and has planned two launches in the coming year.
This plastic specialist has launched 800 Battenfeld MacroPower machine at the Wittmann Battenfeld in April in the presence of 700 customers. The firm will be launching a 1,000 tonne machine ready for the K2010 plastics exhibition in Dusseldorf in October. A 1,600 tonne machine is about to be launched next year.
Barry Hill, managing director of Wittmann Battenfeld UK, has opined that from the standpoint of UK the firm cab go forward and sell a number of true innovations on their large moulding machines, which included “lightest weight, smallest footprint and lowest energy consumption”.
The 800-tonne clamping force was demonstrated at the open house by manufacturing a dryer centre with the mould that is supplied by Coko Kunststofftechnik.
