Israel-based manufacturer of compounds, color and additive masterbatches for the plastics industry Tosaf has completed the start-up of a new compounding plant in Afula, Israel.
With an annual production capacity of 50,000t, the new factory adds to the company’s existing capacity of 90,000t per year for compounds and masterbatches.
Tosaf director for international business Joseph Halberstam said that the new plant is Tosaf’s response to the increase in demand for the company’s tailor-made high performance compounds.
“This step distinctly strengthens our responsiveness in satisfying specific customer requests worldwide,” he added.
