Italy-based SACMI Group will display its latest creations at the K 2010 exhibition, an international trade show dedicated to technologies for processing plastic and rubber materials, The show will take place from 27 October to 3 November at Düsseldorf, Germany.

The spotlight will be pointed at the new SBF (Stretch Blow Forming) technology, which will be previewed for the beverage sector. SBF is a machine that blows molds PET bottles with fascinating technical innovations.

Twelve models with a number of blowing stations ranging 6 to 30, and several new items, will be presented, starting with a dual cavity mold capable of producing two half-liter bottles or one 1.5-2 liter bottle, with a quick format change-over system.

As part of a wider strategy, that aims to offer to the market a unique supplier satisfying any production need, the SBF machine is on show together with the CCM80S, which completes the CCM (Continuous Compression Molding) model range, providing both the highest production performances and energy reduced consumptions, according to the market tendencies.

Sacmi will also present CBF12 (Compression Blow Forming), a state-of-the-art machine that performs the plastic transformation process based on continuous resin extrusion, combined with the compression and blowing process. On show will be also an ORCS 160 machine for orientating caps and the CHS system that inspects caps that is the ideal solution for complete caps inspection (in-line and off-line).
