New Wave Enviro, a Colorado based company that specializes in water filtration and storage, has introduced new reusable 3 and 5 gallon bottles that are Bishpenol A (BPA) Free.
The company claims that these are the first large water bottles on the market that are BPA Free, reusable, glass-like, and shatter-proof.
The company said that these 3 and 5 gallon bottles will primarily be used in water coolers and its exclusive 2.2 gallon stainless steel water dispenser. Previously New Wave Enviro had introduced a line of BPA Free bottles in sizes from 8 ounces to 2 gallons.
According to the company, it is important to store filtered water in non-leaching, non-porous containers to keep it free of unwanted chemicals and contaminants. BPA has been used for decades to harden plastics and is present in many food and beverage containers. People consume BPA when it leaches from plastic into water, baby formula, or food.
