UK based Linx Printing Technologies has launched Linx IJ200, a new thermal inkjet printer for the labelling of secondary packaging. This new thermal ink jet’s design has been made compatible to print large characters and reliable linear and 2D barcodes directly onto boxes and cartons.

The users of Linx IJ200 would benefit from the wide range of inks and spout colours and a quick start-up-time that is the machine becomes operational within 50seconds after being switched on.

Linx described the machine to be cost effective and hasslefree alternative completely addressing the needs of smaller firms, reported by PackagingNews.

Linx managing director Paul Doody said that small companies have on-site maintenance less frequently, so they need a reliable solution to print secondary codes simply, cleanly and with no hidden costs.

Linx IJ200 also supports two 50mm printhead assemblies for extra flexibility along with a resolution of 600dpi at speeds of up to 120m a minute.
