US-based food processing technology solutions provider JBT has announced that POM Wonderful has awarded JBT FoodTech a new three-year contract to provide postharvest and produce labeling products and services.
Under terms of the contract JBT FoodTech will supply cleaning, sanitation, decay management, protective coating and produce labeling solutions at POM Wonderful’s Del Rey, California-based packing house operations.
POM Wonderful is a producer of the California Wonderful variety of pomegranates and grows, harvests, processes and ships pomegranates in central California.
JBT’s fresh produce preservation and labeling technologies have helped fresh produce packers meet the quality standards in the industry.
