Henkel has recreated its UniBond tapes so the customers can easily make out the specific product by the use of colour coding.

Henkel has recreated its UniBond tapes as part of the launch of a new range for DIY this month. The new look of the packaging tapes is recreated so the customers can easily make out the specific product by the use of colour coding and photographs to illustrate its usage.

The product is displayed in such a manner that the customers will be able to see and feel the product before they go on to purchase it.

Dave McCann, marketing director for Henkel UK, has opined: “UniBond is already the market leader in the sealants, tiling and grab adhesive category and we are confident that we will build on this successful performance in the tape market”.

The multi-layered UniBond DIY range will consist of eight sub-categories like Power, Duct, Carpet, Electrical, Masking, Mounting, Repair and Packaging.

The firm has stated that the new UniBond Power Tape is the first tape that can even survive in wet surfaces by being 100% waterproof. It is available in market in silver, black, white and clear colours.
