Edelmann Graphics is set to display the first printing machine of its new model range STAR-PRINT to the customers during an open-house at the production site in Beerfelden, Germany on 21-22 October 2010.
The new machine is available with 52cm, 76cm and 92cm web widths and size variability of 610mm to 1,118mm. It has been built for packaging and label printing and serves the market of flexible packaging and folding-carton, shrink-sleeves and wrap-arounds, in-mold-labels.
The technological advantage is based on the hydraulically fixed wear-free offset-sleeves with bearer-rings-technology developed specifically for the new machines.
The sleeve-system is packed in an insert cassette due to which it is also possible to equip the printing machine as a hybrid version.
