Design Cognition has joined hands with a group of pharmaceutical experts for guiding and aiding the pharma companies, operating in consumer healthcare market, with packaging designs and marketing of their products.

Design Cognition has joined hands with a group of pharmaceutical experts to provide a complete product development service for the consumer healthcare market. This Healthcare Development Partnership has been into the business of helping client companies to develop and reinvent goods, including packaging design and development.

Other partners in the group have been experienced consultants from the sphere of marketing strategies, product formulation, clinical development and medical and regulatory affairs. Chris Penfold, managing director of Design Cognition, has opined: “the business was targeting work on products already on the market as well as offering new product development services to new healthcare businesses”.

The partnership was aiming to work on products arising out of the Medilink healthcare network, academia and Nottingham’s Biocity, which provides finance and office space to bioscience and pharmaceutical start-ups”.

The organisation is also looking forward to get a good chunk of business from many large pharmaceutical companies who may have had a patent on a cancer drug but do not have much knowledge about marketing or packaging design, more so in view of growing competition with generics.
