Canada-based manufacturer of green packaging products and tissue paper Cascades has received confirmation from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to name its American mills as Energy Star(R) partners. Through this arrangement, the mills will meet the standards set by the EPA and thereby protect the environment.
The Cascades mills located in the US will use the tools provided by the EPA which will enable to reduce energy consumption.
Energy Star(R) is the national symbol of energy efficiency and excellence in environmental protection that is most recognized by the American public. Through this programme, the EPA sets targets for achieving superior energy performance.
