Following its purchase last year of Dixon manufacturer of coating and laminating machines, Emerson & Renwick has opened a dedicated pilot coating facility at its Accrington, UK, factory. A Dixon Model 160 pilot coater will provide customers with the opportunity to develop processes such as direct and reverse gravure, air knife/Meyer Bar, and offset gravure. To ensure client confidentiality, it will be housed in a stand-alone facility.
