Clifford Packaging has launched a range of “drop-in” corrugated retail-ready (RRP) wine boxes incorporating “the latest perforation technology” to make them easier to open in-store.
The first of the BottleBuddie packs have gone on sale in UK Tesco stores, being used for Chenin Blanc from South African company Ken Forrester. Set to be on shelves in other retail outlets and used by other brand owners by later this year/early next, the packs are also being launched in South Africa.
The RRP boxes feature a built-in handle for consumer carry-home if required, can be constructed to hold four or six bottles, and will display wines with either a two or three bottle facing.
Clifford says the design is compatible with all existing hand or automated case erecting machines.
