Simco's new type DD web cleaner is more compact than the earlier model and now has an integrated power supply. This avoids the need for external support and makes the web cleaner self sufficient. The new model is also fitted with an improved vacuum and dust collection system.
Said to be relatively inexpensive, the DD system will prevent buildup of dust on any surface, which can lead to poor print production, and allow the run time of the press to be increased significantly. Designed for installation on narrow web presses, the new unit can be fitted in very tight locations.
