The squeezy bottle combines modern functionality with traditional branding

A stylish squeezable bottle from RPC Containers Blackburn has helped ambient Asian meals category leader Sharwood’s become the first brand worldwide to introduce a squeezy bottle into the chutney market.

Recognising the impact squeezable bottles have had on the condiment market in terms of consumer convenience and reliability, particularly in the mayonnaise sector, Centura Foods asked RPC Blackburn to produce a bottle that could deliver these qualities while remaining true to the century-long heritage of its Green Label mango chutney brand.

The custom-moulded 322ml bottle is injection-moulded in clear PET for maximum squeezability, while the “upside-down” shape provides further convenience. The bottle’s curved appearance adds an element of style, while the large labelling area allows Centura to give prominence to the Green Label branding.
