A fully automated channeliser that can be combined with a range of high speed labelling equipment and controlled from a touch screen on the labeller has been launched by PALS Labelling.
Comprising a combined channeliser and elevating conveyor, PALS says the system can reduce waste caused by mis-timed pack feed and reject packs, especially during start-up, thereby minimising downtime and cutting costs.
Pack spacing can be altered to synchronise with different-speed lines, enabling the timing of the packs entering the labeller to be configured for optimum labelling speed, minimising dwell time.
