Designed for narrow and fragile products, Calemard’s new Gemini II spooling line uses a numerical traverse winder, driven by a PLC that allows individual control of each spooling unit. A wide range of products, including adhesives, foams, films, and non wovens, in various thicknesses and widths, can be spooled up to 400 x 400mm and various winding patterns. Based on a modular design, the production capacity of the Gemini II can be increased from four to 12 spooling units, as needed.
