Papermaker Curtis Fine Papers, one of the UK’s earliest MBO’s of 2002, has reported a return to profit for its first year as an independent company. Sales revenues for the year to December 31, 2002, were down slightly to €56.3M from €59.1M. Pre-tax profits climbed to €1.89M from a loss of €295,000 in 2001.
