Amcor White Cap has launched a modified 51mm press-on twist-off tinplate cap with universal compound for glass containers – the 51 PTU.
There is now one closure for all three heat treatment processes – sterilisation, pasteurisation and hot-fill.
Mixing of closures during production can now be avoided and the new single closure obviates the need for cap changeovers.
