An automatic vertical strapping machine has been developed by Signode to provide new levels of machine availability to the packaging industry.
The MD-3000-V is designed for installations where products are transported into the machine along the side of the conveyor, eliminating the need for head travel.
PP or Tenax polyester strapping in 9, 11 or 13mm widths means the MD-3000-V can be used to pack a diverse range of products from cartons and containers to timber or metal items.
An adjustable strap tension feature enables any tension level to be selected from 100-2000 Newtons.
Patented features include Swing-Weld vibration weld strap sealing technology which delivers a high joint strength with a repeat accuracy of 3%, and Signode’s new SureGrip tension winder system
