€5.5M funding for arccure

Supplier of pure UV systems Arccure Technologies has secured a total funding of €5,5M from Partech International and 3i that will enable it to “take advantage of significant growth opportunities in new markets and applications”.

Michael Bisges, co-founder of the company with Knut Kisters, comments: “The funds raised will enable us to consolidate our position in the optical storage media industry and penetrate additional, much larger target markets characterized by strong growth and yet low UV saturation levels, such as the graphical, electronics, packaging, tape and labels, and automotive industries. With both existing investor 3i and new lead investor Partech International fully supporting us, we believe that we can now focus on taking the company to the next level”.
