US-based Flair Flexible has introduced the new Permazip packaging technology for roasted chicken and meat offerings.
Permazip closure has a tamper-resistant permanent zipper on a flexible film pouch that ensures food safety while reducing waste and shipping expense and eliminates concerns about steam pressure causing deli pouches to open and other tampering concerns.
The simple easy-to-close pouch eliminates the need for specialized sealing equipment in the deli if a permanent seal is desired. Food is kept air-tight and safe from contamination throughout its point of purchase, upon sealing.
According to Flair Flexible Packaging, a secondary recloseable seal can be added below the Permazip for retail customers’ use.
