US-based packaging solutions provider for pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetics industries, Anomatic will build a new facility in New Albany, Ohio, US as part of its expansion plans.

The company hopes to join others at The Personal Care and Beauty Campus in the New Albany Business Park.

Anomatic plans to invest $8.7m to set up a 65,000 ft2 anodizing production facility with new equipment. The facility is expected to create nearly 185 new positions in the first three years of operation.

New Albany spokesman Scott McAfee said that the company is happy that Anomatic will soon become a part of the Beauty and Personal Care Campus within the New Albany Business Park. Every company at the park plays a role in vertical supply chain to turn concepts into actual products.

"Businesses worldwide are taking note, and this campus has brought more than 1,000 new jobs to our region and our state in the last year alone," McAfee added.

In 2010 Anomatic supplied more than 1.2 billion anodized components to global customers servicing the packaging industry, the company claimed.
