Arkema Group’s adhesive solutions subsidiary Bostik has purchased the latest generation industrial laminator from Nordmeccanica, a supplier of lamination machines.

The new laminator has been acquired by Bostik to strengthen its global research and development (R&D) efforts on flexible lamination, in addition to further diversifying its offering of sustainable smart adhesive solutions.

The new lamination equipment will be installed at Bostik’s Shanghai R&D centre to mainly serving customers in the flexible packaging converting industry.

It helps to deliver adhesive solutions for food and beverage, fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceutical and industrial applications in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new equipment will enable Bostik to deliver sustainable adhesive solutions to customers in the Asia Pacific and across the globe.

The new laminator will also help strengthen Bostik’s Flex Pack Academy, a knowledge centre on flexible lamination and adhesive solutions.
