In the first half of 2021, the branch of Segezha Packaging LLC (Segezha Group, MOEX: SGZH, a Sistema company) in Salsk, Rostov Region, produced 81 million units of industrial paper packaging, doubling production volumes compared to the same period last year. By the end of this year, the company is expected to produce 146 million pieces of packaging for cement and dry construction mixtures. Also, in the first six months, the Rostov Region branch produced 11 million units of consumer packaging, an almost threefold increase compared to the first half of 2020. In a year, the branch is expected to produce 22 million pieces of paper packaging for retail chains, sports, and fashion retail.

One of Segezha Group’s strategic priorities is expanding its presence on the Russian domestic paper packaging market and creating new converting facilities.

“By maintaining the stable operation of all production lines and ceaselessly improving the qualifications of our personnel, we can increase our production and output of finished products, ensuring that we fulfill and even surpass our goals. The latest semi-annual results of the branch are almost comparable to the total annual results for 2019: 81 million units of industrial and 15 million units of consumer packaging in a year,” notes Oleg Patrushin, Director of the Segezha Packaging LLC branches in Salsk, Rostov Region, and Lobnya, Moscow Region.

Since 2016, total investments in developing the production facilities at the Salsk Branch have already exceeded 2 billion rubles.
